We know this is a busy time of year, so it’s time to focus on just maintaining our weight. No gaining, no losing (but if we did lose, that would be just fine!). Let’s hold on until the end of the year, especially while the family is here, and the kids are home from school. Beginning January 1, we will kick it in high gear! To prepare for our “kicking,” let’s be prepared. Get a journal for writing down all meals, get a pedometer to calculate steps and calories burned (I like the fitbit at www.fitbit.com), and get a home fitness program from www.beachbodycoach.com/teresatraining. This is in case you’re not able to make it to the gym. Have your refrigerator stocked with fresh vegetables and fruits. Throw out the processed foods, sugary drinks, and any junk food leftover from the holidays. Think about drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day and eat breakfast, but if you’re not a breakfast eater, then at least drink a healthy shake (I like the Shakeology protein smoothies from www.myshakeology.com/teresatraining). Take a multivitamin.
It’s time to get healthy and make it last. We must plan ahead and begin thinking about our strategies for this lifestyle change. I will be with you during this whole journey (contact me anytime!) and I am looking forward to a healthy new you!

Are you ready?
Ok, I did it. I became a Beachbody coach. I’ve already been doing the workouts. You know from the late night infomercials, Insanity, Les Mills Pump, and the 10-Minute Trainer, and now I drink the shakes from Shakeology. Plus, if you’re a client of mine…you did some bits of the workouts too, you just didn’t know it! Now, if you wanted to do the full workouts at home, or maybe just purchase some of the products like vitamins, protein powder, or the Shakeology packs, you can purchase these items from me. Just click on the Shakeology or Les Mills Pump banners on the right side of this page or go to beachbodycoach.com/TERESATRAINING.
Let me know if you have any questions. When you peruse the website you’ll notice that there’s an opportunity for you to be a Beachbody coach as well. Look through it, tell me what you think. I can answer any questions you may have! Click on the image below to get started!
I have to admit – my daughter is brilliant. Now I know I’m mom, but she has opened my eyes to some incredibly delicious food products I would never try without her coaxing. For an example, the above product PB2, powdered peanut butter. Say whaaaat?
It’s true. I took 2 tablespoons of PB2, mixed it with 1 tablespoon of water, and voila! Instant peanut butter with only 1.5 grams of fat, 45 calories and, wait for it…it actually tastes good. The ingredients speak for themselves – peanuts, sugar, and salt. If you’re like me, it’s hard to eat just 2 tablespoons of Jif or natural peanut butter. I don’t want to stop at 2 tablespoons, I want more. More equals more fat (12g in 2 tablespoons of Jif Reduced Fat and it has saturated fat…ewwww) and more calories (190 calories in 2 tablespoons of Jif Reduced Fat). So when Allyson suggested I try PB2, I reluctantly bought it, thinking it was going to taste like chalk. I was wrong. It was amazing, peanutty, and guilt-free. I ate the 2 tablespoons and then I made more! And I didn’t feel guilty. So good and yes, my daughter is brilliant.
Take a look at the ingredients in the Jif Reduced Fat…the number two ingredient is corn syrup solids. Really? Why? And…it is made of only 60% peanuts. Again, really? Hell, I can’t even pronounce some of the other ingredients in Jif. That is sad.
If you get a chance, try PB2. I bought mine at Whole Foods, and I know you can purchase it on the Internet. You also can bake with it…but, honestly, I haven’t gone that far yet.
Let me know what you think. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!
